Cost Calculator

This calculator can help you get an idea of the costs associated with attending Georgia State University. Figures generated are estimates only and all tuition rates and fees are subject to change without notice.

All amounts shown here or in other University publications or websites represent tuition and fees as currently approved by the University. However, Georgia State reserves the right to modify tuition rates and fees without prior notice and to make such modifications applicable to students currently enrolled at the University, as well as to incoming students. Students are responsible for all charges billed by the University.

The estimates included in the calculator are not binding on the Secretary of Education, Georgia State University, or the State of Georgia.

Note: This cost calculator is for undergraduate students only for the 2022-2023 school year. Please see the Student Accounts website for graduate tuition, fees and related costs.

To be awarded the in-state tuition discount, you must demonstrate that you, your parent, your spouse or your court-appointed guardian (if you are a minor) is a legal resident of Georgia for tuition purposes. You may establish this claim by providing documentation to support the definition established by the Board of Regents. Please note that establishing residency for tuition purposes as defined by the Board of Regents is different than residency for purposes of such things as voting, having a Georgia driver's license/tag, etc., and requires more than establishing eligibility to vote, securing a driver's license, and/or paying taxes. Check out our information about Tuition Classification.
